Celtic striker Moussa Dembele hasn’t commented on his future at the club amid intense interest from clubs around Europe, reports The Daily Record.

The 20-year-old starlet was in sensational form for Brendan Rodgers’ side last term, his first at the club, netting 32 goals in 49 matches in all competitions to help the Bhoys to a record-breaking Scottish Premiership title success, as well as Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup victories.

The France international was named in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year for his stunning goal-scoring efforts, and combined with his excellent campaign at Fulham the term before, Dembele has now scored 49 goals in his last two seasons at club level.

And this scintillating form has unsurprisingly attracted interest from around Europe, with Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United reportedly interested, as are Serie A outfit AC Milan, Ligue 1 side Marseille, and Germany’s Borussia Dortmund.

And when the 20-year-old was asked about his future following his appearance for the France Under-23 side against Cameroon earlier this week, he didn’t give anything away, refusing to commit to Celtic or confirm he’ll be leaving the club.

He said: ‘I’m now going on holiday. As for my future…we will see what will happen next.’

These comments may concern Celtic fans slightly given that he has committed his future to the club, while fans of the aforementioned European sides may feel that a deal is doable for the striker this summer.

Thus, it may well be a long summer for Rodgers and his team as they look to hold onto their prized asset.
