Napoli could be willing to get a deal done with Manchester United for defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Corriere dello Sport

Not only have Man United been chasing the Serie A centre back for a long time, they now find themselves with an injury crisis, with just one central defender fit and Harry Maguire hoping to return from a hip lay-off.

Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport are reporting that a January deal is a possibility following the 28-year-old falling out with owner Aurelio de Laurentis.

Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentis is reported to have had a disagreement with his best defender.

Despite this disagreement, Serie A challengers Napoli still expect a high price for the Senegal international, with a eye-watering £100million fee rumoured.

A fee of that size would see a huge profit for Napoli, having signed Koulibaly for just £7million from Belgium side Genk six years ago.

It’s not just Manchester United who are after the defender though, with Premier League trio Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City all linked with the star in the past.
