New Manchester United signing Isak Hansen-Aaroen confirmed via Instagram post from the young player, via the Mirror

The Norwegian forward, who only turned 16 yesterday has joined the Red Devils from his club Tromso.

It would be fair to say United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knew about the player, due to the fact that they are both from Norway and Hansen-Aaroen is considered a young star in the country.

Solskjaer will be excited about signing his fellow countryman.

At just 15 years and 319 days old the youngster made his senior debut for Tromso and made a total of seven appearances for the club in the Norwegian second tier.

Tromso had nothing but praise for the goal-getter  on their own Instagram account, with the club writing: “A wonderful person. A unique football talent. Who just loves to play football now.

From Fløya to TIL as a junior, into the academy as a 10-year-old, learns at the TIL school and debut for the first team as a 15-year-old. Assist in his last match for Tromsø IL.

“Thank you so much for the last ten years and good luck in Manchester United and on in your career.”
