Newcastle’s wantaway Euro 2016 star, Moussa Sissoko, could be set for the move he so desperately desires with the Magpies now in talks with Inter Milan over a deal, according to TalkSport.

The 27-year-old made his intentions perfectly clear earlier in the window, when he announced his desire to leave St James’ Park, however the £35m valuation has stalled his departure, with clubs as yet un-willing to meet it.

The French international had a mediocre campaign last season and was powerless to prevent the Toon Army from relegation, however he came alive for his national side during their home European Championships and played a key role in getting France to the final.

These performances have attracted reported interest from Arsenal, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund already this window and now new Inter boss, Frank De Boer has had his head turned.

The former Tolouse man made the move to English football in 2013, joining Newcastle from Ligue 1 for a fee of just over £2m and has gone on to make 133 appearances for the club, scoring on 12 occasions.
