Newcastle are preparing an offer for Kamil Grosicki.

According to a report in the Hull Daily Mail the Hull City winger is wanted by Rafa Benitez to boost his squad for next season’s return to the Premier League.

Grosicki only joined Hull in January from French side Rennes and looked comfortable in the Premier League despite his side finally being relegated.

With Marco Silva installed as manager of Watford Newcastle may have to act quickly with the Polish winger likely to be a target for Silva and other clubs impressed by the way Grosicki settled into English football.

Benitez is looking to strengthen every area of his squad with the emphasis on players who have experience of the Premier League.

Although Grosicki only made a dozen appearances for Hull he did enough to win the April Player of the Month award with Benitez confident that the 28-year-old can fit into his plans for the Premier League.
