Newcastle target Netherlands’ new international star

Newcastle United reportedly want to make Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi their first January signing.

The Premier League outfit, who sit third from bottom in the league standings after collecting just seven points from their opening 11 fixtures, are hopeful of adding three new recruits to their squad during the forthcoming New Year transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who has two international caps for Netherlands, has already scored eight goals in 10 league appearances for the Eredivisie outfit so far this season.

Reports also suggest that France international Moussa Sissoko is attracting interest following his run of impressive performances at St James’ Park so far this term, fuelling speculation he is set to leave Newcastle in January.
