Norwich City have reportedly joined Aston Villa and Southampton in the race to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy on loan.

The France international is out of favour at Stamford Bridge despite the Blues’ poor start to the season, and could be allowed to leave on a temporary basis during the transfer window.

That news has alerted a number of Premier League clubs, including the three aforementioned outfits, who are ready to offer the 29-year-old first-team football for the remainder of the campaign.

Remy has made 40 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea since making the move from QPR in 2014, scoring 12 goals.
