Name: Loic Remy
With Norwich City boss Alex Neil desperate to keep the club afloat come May, the newly promoted side have been heavily linked with a move for France international Loic Remy to help preserve their Premier League status come the end of the season.
The Canaries, who currently sit six points above the bottom three in 15th spot following back-to-back victories over Aston Villa and Southampton, are interested in taking the out-of-favour Chelsea forward to Carrow Road on loan for the remainder of the 2015-16 season.
The 29-year-old, who has 31 international caps for his country, has scored one league goal in eight appearances for the defending champions this season.
Despite Guus Hiddink taking interim charge of Chelsea since Jose Mourinho’s dismissal last month, it is unlikely that Remy’s first-team opportunities will be much improved at Stamford Bridge this term as fellow forward Diego Costa remains the club’s top goalscorer in the Premier League with six goals.
However Neil’s Norwich face stiff competition for the hitman’s signature this January as top-flight rivals Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Swansea City are also said to be interested in Remy’s services this campaign.
