Name: Omar Abdulrahman
Position: Midfielder
Club: Al Ain

UAE's Omar Abdulrahman Al Amoudi during the Group A match at the City of Coventry Stadium, Coventry.

Now Kevin De Bruyne’s club record £55 million move from Wolfsburg has been completed it is highly unlikely that Manchester City are to buy anyone else on Deadline Day.

However, this is football, and if Manuel Pellegrini were to move for someone else he may start getting the wheels in motion to try and seal the signature of midfielder Omar Abdulrahman.

The United Arab Emirates international, who signed a new four-year deal with Al Ain in February, is one of the best Asian players in world football and the main reason why his country are starting to make waves at international level.

The 23-year-old was actually offered a four-year deal by City after a successful two-week trial in 2012, but a deal failed to happen due to work permit and national team ranking issues.

Now with UAE ranked 69th in the world though, a transfer would be easier to push through, meaning this could certainly be a move that the current league leaders will look to do for January or next summer.
