Paul Pogba could perform a U-turn and extend his current deal at Manchester United, according to ESPN.

It would have seemed almost inconceivable six-12 months ago that United ace Pogba would be staying put at Old Trafford beyond this summer, with Real Madrid and former club Juventus the most likely suitors.

The World Cup winner famously fell out with former Man United boss Jose Mourinho, and due to injury played little to no part in the season before lockdown.

Solskjaer has been rightly praised for the football being played by United.

However, one of glimmer of hope United fans were holding onto was the midfielder’s relationship with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, which has always been strong.

Now, since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January, United’s performances have simply got better and better. And with Pogba back on the pitch, all seems rosy at Old Trafford.

ESPN are now reporting that Pogba could stay put and sign a contract extension which will take him past the current June 2021 expiry date.
