On this day, 42 years ago, a legend was born. More specifically, a Manchester United legend was born.

Shoot! would like to wish a certain Paul Scholes many happy returns on his birthday!

The redhead midfielder was part of The Class of ’92, alongside fellow uprising stars Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville and Phil Neville.

Nowadays; the 42-year-old is currently co-owner of Salford City, who compete in the National League North, where The Ammies currently lie eighth after their opening 18 league games.

How they wish Scholes was still playing!

Anyway; In honour of the Salford-born star, Shoot! have broken down Scholes’ Manchester United career into numbers, and trust us, there are a lot of them! Enjoy…
