Pep Guardiola must axe these 3 Man City players in January

Yaya Toure became one of Manchester City’s most important players when he signed from Barcelona in 2010, and heavily contributed to their two Premier League title successes in 2012 and 2014.

However, he is not anywhere near Guardiola’s first team at the moment, for reasons that have been widely publicised, and has been left out of their UEFA Champions League squad for the group stages – his only appearance of the season came in City’s 1-0 second leg victory over Steaua Bucharest back in August.

Clearly, it’s time for Toure to leave Manchester and pursue his career somewhere else.

His contract expires at the end of this season, and it would take a remarkable change of circumstances for that to be extended.
