Tottenham have really struggled in Europe this season, and could do with the same sort of boost Harry Winks gave them against West Ham when they visit Monaco on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old was outstanding in the Spurs midfield on Saturday and deservedly got his first Premier League goal to help the home side to a 3-2 win.

With Spurs lacking something in Europe so far, Winks may get another chance to make a similar impact on Tuesday.

Although it would be a bold move, he proved on Saturday not to be overawed by the occasion, and he has had minutes in Europe already this season, so it wouldn’t be a compete step into the unknown.
