Kyle Walker was given the nod in the first leg in Belgium last week, but Kieran Trippier’s display against Fulham on Sunday will certainly give Pochettino something to think about.

The former Burnley full-back was outstanding throughout against the Cottagers, with his quick-thinking the beginning of their first goal at Craven Cottage, while his overall display down the right caused several problems for the Fulham backline.

Trippier is an excellent crosser of the ball but also defends solidly, and with Spurs in need of a goal but also needing to prevent an away goal, the 26-year-old could be the man to start at right-back on Thursday.
