Tottenham Hotspur face Brighton & Hove Albion in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off as they aim to bounce back from midweek Champions League humiliation.

Spurs suffered a record 7-2 defeat at home against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, leaving them struggling with just one point from their opening two group games.

In the Premier League, the North London side have won just three of their opening seven matches and have already been knocked out of the EFL Cup after losing to League Two Colchester United on penalties.

Following the hammering at the hands of Bayern, under-pressure boss Mauricio Pochettino is expected to make big changes.

Pochettino will be looking for a reaction from his Spurs players at Brighton.

England boss Gareth Southgate left Dele Alli out of his squad for the upcoming Euro qualifiers and you can expect him to be dropped to the bench at club level in favour of Erik Lamela this weekend.

Elsewhere, Jan Vertonghen may make way for Davinson Sanchez after a sloppy midweek showing, while Moussa Sissoko should move back to right-back in place of the suspended Serge Aurier.

We think Ben Davies will step in for Danny Rose at left-back, while Christian Eriksen will be introduced into midfield – filling in further forward than where Sissoko usually plays.

Spurs predicted XI: Lloris; Sissoko, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Davies; Ndombele, Winks; Lamela, Eriksen, Son; Kane.
