Everton boss Ronald Koeman could offer out-of-favour Man United winger Memphis Depay an end to his Old Trafford nightmare.
The former Southampton boss has declared his interest in his compatriot, who has struggled since the arrival of Jose Mourinho in Manchester, telling FOX Sports:
“I would like to have him [Depay].
“I think he is an interesting player. He has great individual qualities. He just needs to play games.”
The former PSV man, who arrived at Old Trafford under Louis Van Gaal has made just four Premier League appearances so far this season, all from the bench and totalling 20 minutes.
The Toffees have the financial backing of new owner Forad Moshiri, who lured Koeman to Merseyside with the promise of money to spend.
The 22-year-old cost the Red Devils £25m when he moved from the Eredivisie in 2015, but they would more than likely find it hard to get such a fee should he move on in January.
