According to The Sun, Borussia Dortmund have confirmed they are ready to listen to bids for deadly striker Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang.

The forward recently returned to Germany after his national team Gabon crashed out of the African Cup of Nations. Aubameyang’s two strikes in the tournament were not enough for his side to make it to the next round following three successive draws.

How long the 27 year-old will remain in Germany remains to be seen. The club are demanding a £68.5m price for the Bundesliga star with a host of Europe’s top clubs lining up to sign the player.

Both Arsenal and Manchester have been linked with striker in the past while Real Madrid are also forerunners.

Dortmund’s chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has revealed that any bids approaching the €80m (£68.5m) mark would be enough to spark a serious discussion in the BVB boardroom, whilst insisting bids are not welcomed.
