Premier League out-of-favour XI

Players fall out of favour at their clubs every weekend across the country, for an array of reasons.

Whether it be that a new manager simply doesn’t take a shine to the signings of his predecessor, or an existing manager has a change of heart concerning selection or tactics, some players have to be the victim.

It is, however, often the case that some players fall down the pecking order simply because they are not good enough, either they can’t suit their manager, didn’t deliver what they were expected to when signed or if their club has risen to a level above their own.

Whilst this is often the case, there are always some very decent players hovering around who – for one reason or another – are not getting regular game time where they currently are.
