With seven Premier League games remaining until the turn of the year and the season’s halfway stage, we take a look at how we think Manchester City will fare up until the start of 2016.

Liverpool (H), Nov 21

Manuel Pellegrini’s side currently have the best home record in the Premier League after picking up five wins from their six matches at the Etihad, and we’re tipping them to see off the challenge of Jurgen Klopp’s side in their next fixture.

David Silva is due back from injury, which will also give the team a huge boost after their disappointing 0-0 draw at Aston Villa last time out.

Southampton (H), Nov 28

The Saints certainly won’t be any pushover, with Ronald Koeman’s currently unbeaten on their travels so far this season, but we’re backing City to end that run here.

This match has already been pencilled in as the one where Sergio Aguero returns from injury – in his previous appearance at the Etihad, he scored five goals against Newcastle.

Stoke (A), Dec 5

The Britannia Stadium is notoriously a tough place to go for the top teams in the Premier League, and we think that City will be held on what is likely to be a cold, windy day.

The Citizens have drawn on five of their last six trips to Stoke – the exception coming last season when they ran out 4-1 winners.

Swansea (H), Dec 12

We’re backing City to pick up yet another home win when they host Swansea, who haven’t looked themselves in recent weeks.

The depth in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad is quite incredible, and they will need to make use of that over the busy Christmas period.

Shoot says: Win

Arsenal (A), Dec 21

City’s last two trips to the Emirates in the Premier League have ended in draws, and we’re tipping that as the result here in both sides’ last match before Christmas.

The duo are already shaping up to be the main title contenders, and Manuel Pellegrini certainly won’t want to let the Gunners snatch a victory.

Sunderland (H), Dec 26

Once again, we don’t see City slipping up at home, especially to Sam Allardyce’s struggling Sunderland side.

That said, the Black Cats are likely to go to the Etihad with a game plan to be solid, so the hosts will have to use all of their creative force to break their visitors down.

Shoot says: Win

Leicester (A), Dec 29

As we all know, Leicester have made a stunning start to the season, and the King Power Stadium will be a tough place for any side visiting this season.

City have the quality to see the Foxes off like Arsenal did earlier in the campaign, but we’re backing a share of the spoils in front of a sell-out crowd.
