Wednesday’s instalment of Premier League action sees Southampton welcome Manchester United to St Mary’s Stadium (19:45).

The Saints, who have climbed up to eighth in the top-flight standings, will be looking to build upon their most recent 2-1 victory at already relegated Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Meanwhile The Red Devils, who continue to have [at least] one eye on the 2017 UEFA Europa League final against Ajax later this month, have suffered back-to-back league defeats to the hands of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.

For the hosts, winger Nathan Redmond will be determined to get on the scoresheet in successive Premier League fixtures after netting at the Riverside.

As for the visitors, fellow wideman Jesse Lingard will be looking to impress manager Jose Mourinho ahead of United’s final 2016-17 top-flight tie against Crystal Palace, as well as trying to stake a claim for a start in Sweden for the upcoming Europa League final.

So, with both key men set to go head-to-head at St Mary’s tonight, here is how Redmond and Lingard match up so far this season…
