Chelsea will hope to end their winless run in the Premier League when they host Wolves on Monday night.

Enzo Maresca’s side had risen as high as second in the top flight table but a recent run of three draws and two defeats has seen the Blues drop down to fifth in the standings.

The Italian will be desperate to see his side return to winning ways on Monday, but Wolves have improved in recent weeks and will provide a tough test for the West London side.

Off the pitch, it appears that one of the Blues’ Premier League rivals are hoping to sign two of Chelsea’s players this month.

According to CaughtOffside, Everton are interested in signing both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Ben Chilwell on loan.

The report claims that the Toffees are on the hunt for loan signings this month as they look to bolster David Moyes’ squad, and the Merseyside outfit plan to ask about the availability of the Chelsea duo.

Left-back Chilwell joined the Blues from Leicester City in 2020 and has since played more than 100 times for the club, but he has fallen completely out of favour under Maresca this term, making just one appearance.

Chilwell is likely to leave Chelsea before the end of the current transfer window

Dewsbury-Hall, meanwhile, followed Maresca from Leicester to Stamford Bridge last summer but has also struggled for opportunities this season.

In total the midfielder has played just 15 times across all competitions, failing to start a single Premier League game.

Everton are currently using all four of their available loan spots, although striker Armando Borja – who is on loan from Chelsea – has suffered a long-term injury and could therefore return to Stamford Bridge to free up a spot.

Chilwell’s contract with Chelsea is set to expire in the summer of 2027, while Dewsbury-Hall is contracted to the club until 2029.
