Norwich City have reportedly slapped a whopping £15m price tag on Crystal Palace target Nathan Redmond.

The Premier League outfit, who currently lie six points above the bottom three following back-to-back league wins over Aston Villa and Southampton, are also thought to have offered the England Under-21 international a new long-term contract in the hope of keeping him at Carrow Road this month.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Canaries for around £3.2m from Birmingham City in the summer of 2013, has scored four goals in 19 league games for Alex Neil’s side this season.

Redmond; who has just 18 months remaining on his current deal at Norwich, is an admirer of Eagles boss Alan Pardew, who is hoping to further strengthen his attacking ranks in the January transfer window to help Palace qualify for European football at the end of the campaign.
