Chelsea travel to Anfield to face Premier League leaders Liverpool on Wednesday evening.

The Blues arrive on Merseyside in tenth place in the top flight table, but victory over Jurgen Klopp’s side could move them up to seventh.

The game will be Liverpool’s first since Klopp announced that he will leave the club this summer, and the German will be keen to ensure that his side move five points clear at the top of the table.

Ahead of the game, one of Chelsea’s strikers is reportedly attracting attention from elsewhere.

According to The Standard, West London rivals Fulham are weighing up a move for Blues forward Armando Broja.

The Albanian returned from a long injury lay-off at the start of the current campaign, but has scored just twice in 19 matches across all competitions so far this term.

Fulham are said to be considering a last minute move for the 22-year-old before the transfer window shuts on Thursday, with Raul Jimenez having been forced off injured during a goalless draw against Everton on Tuesday night.

The Mexican was forced off at half-time with a hamstring injury, and the Cottagers are now waiting to learn the extent of his injury.

Fellow Premier League side Wolves made an offer to sign the Albania international on Tuesday, but were reluctant to include an obligation-to-buy clause in a proposed loan deal and the move is therefore unlikely to go through.

Aston Villa and West Ham United have also been linked with a move for the striker, but Craven Cottage appears to be his most likely destination if he is to depart on deadline day.

In total, Broja has scored three goals in 38 matches for Chelsea across all competitions, having graduated from the club’s youth academy.
