Juventus appear to be struggling since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo over the summer, with Max Allegri’s side currently sitting 7th in the Serie A table.

After defeats to Napoli and Empoli, The Old Lady find themselves 10 points adrift of top spot already, and look to have a battle on their hands to compete for the title.

Ronaldo’s departure in the final week of the window shocked many, but came as less of a surprise to those in Italy, where the Portuguese’s displeasure at the club was well known.

Now, however, it appears that another star could be leaving Juventus, and two Premier League clubs are reportedly keen.

According to Tuttosport via TEAMTalk, the Italian giants are prepared to let Weston McKennie leave as they believe that they can source a more promising midfielder.

The American international is a reported target for both Tottenham and West Ham United, and both clubs will now be alerted by the news.

McKennie has scored six times in 53 games for Juventus

The report also suggests that Aurelian Tchouameni is the most likely candidate to replace McKennie, who has scored seven times in 25 USA appearances.

Juventus are reportedly keen on bolstering their transfer budget, and believe that McKennie could prompt a quick sale in time for January.

Spurs reportedly consider McKennie as a prime candidate to compete with Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for a starting spot in central midfield, while out of favour Harry Winks could push for a loan move elsewhere in January having fallen down the peaking order.

West Ham, meanwhile, already have a strong midfield duo of Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice, and the American would therefore be considered to be a long-term replacement for the departing Mark Noble, who will leave the club at the end of this season.

It is not yet known how much Juventus value the player at, but their desire to sell could be a positive thing for Spurs and the Hammers.
