Liverpool recorded back-to-back Premier League wins for only the second time this season as they beat West Ham United 1-0 on Wednesday.

A first-half header from Darwin Nunez was enough to give Jurgen Klopp’s side victory over The Hammers, although goalkeeper Alisson did save a penalty from Jarrod Bowen to keep their lead intact.

The Reds are now up to seventh in the Premier League table, and it appears that there could be more reason for Klopp to be cheerful.

According to reports in Italy, Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is keen on a move to Anfield.

As reported by Calciomercato via TalkSPORT, the Ivorian is ‘very fond’ of Klopp’s side and would favour a move to The Reds if he were to depart Selhurst Park.

Zaha has been in sensational form for The Eagles so far this term, scoring five goals in nine Premier League games, including the winner against Wolves on Tuesday.

His contract is set to expire at the end of the current season, though, and it remains to be seen whether or not Palace will be able to persuade him to extend his stay.

Zaha is believed to be keen on a move to Anfield

The winger has spent the majority of is senior career with the club, with the exception of a two-year spell at Manchester United, during which time he spent a brief spell on loan at Cardiff City.

During his time at Old Trafford, Zaha made only four appearances for The Red Devils, and he also failed to score in 13 appearances for The Bluebirds.

If the Ivory Coast international does opt to leave Palace, he will likely have a number of big clubs interested in signing him on a free transfer.

Liverpool are set to be without both Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz for a number of weeks, which could prompt Klopp to make a move for Zaha in the upcoming January transfer window, as the player may be available at a low price if Palace look to cash in.

Only Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min, Ivan Toney and Erling Haaland have scored more Premier League goals in 2022 than Zaha, who has netted 14 times in that period.

In total, the 29-year-old has scored 88 goals in 439 matches for The Eagles, as well as providing 74 assists.

The vast majority of those goals have been in the Premier League, with Zaha having netted 66 times in the competition.
