Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will hope to see his side continue their recent run of good form when they host Everton on November 24.

The Red Devils endured a torrid start to the season which prompted significant pressure on the Portuguese, but a run of three wins and two draws has eased that pressure and seen United move up to seventh in the Premier League table.

With Amorim having now been in charge of the club for a year, the ex-Sporting boss will hope that his side have turned a corner and can now push on in the coming weeks.

Off the pitch, it appears that the Manchester side have been handed a huge boost ahead of the January transfer window.

As per Fabrizio Romano via GiveMeSport, Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba is ‘very keen’ to join Manchester United next year.

The report claims that the Cameroon international is likely to push for a move to Old Trafford next year after positive talks were held during the recent summer transfer window.

Baleba, 21, has impressed since joining the Seagulls from French side Lille in 2023 and United made him one of their top transfer targets this summer.

Brighton were demanding a fee of around £115 million for the midfielder, however, and the proposed move never materialised.

It is claimed that, while a mid-season deal isn’t likely to be achievable, United could look to revisit a possible move for the player next summer.

Baleba’s current contract with the south coast side is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 season, and the Seagulls will understandably be reluctant to lose a player that has established himself as a crucial player for Fabian Hurzeler’s side.
