Watford go into this fixture still seeking a first win since returning to the Premier League, but it will be a tough ask against Garry Monk’s Swansea side who have made an impressive start.

The Hornets drew their first three fixtures before slipping to a first defeat at Manchester City a fortnight ago. Whilst results and performances have not been too concerning, the lack of goals is; Quique Sánchez Flores’ side have not scored since the opening day and captain Troy Deeney is yet to find the net so far.

New signing Adlene Guedioura could make a third debut for the club (the Algerian had two loan spells at Vicarage Road last season), but his fellow new arrivals Victor Ibarbo and Obbi Oulare are unlikely to feature.

The visitors picked up a superb 2-1 win against Manchester United last time out to continue a fine start, and sit in the top-four having collected eight points from their opening four fixtures.

Andre Ayew has been the best new signing in the Premier League so far and has picked up the Player of the Month award as a reward for his efforts, whilst Bafetimbi Gomis will look to continue his record of scoring in every game this term and bring his distinctive celebration to Vicarage Road.

Garry Monk has a fully-fit squad to pick from for this match, with Jefferson Montero back after a thigh injury kept him out of the win over the Red Devils.
