Stoke City star Marko Arnautovic is reportedly a £7.5m target for European giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The Premier League club, who disappointingly lost 2-1 to West Brom on Saturday, are keen to keep hold of their prized asset during the January transfer window as the forward has enjoyed the most fruitful spell of his career at the Britannia Stadium so far this campaign.
The 26-year-old, who has 48 international caps for Austria, has scored seven and assisted three goals in 19 league games for Mark Hughes’ Potters this season.
Arnautovic, who joined Stoke back in September 2013 from Werder Bremen in a deal worth just £2m, has attracted interest from the defending Ligue 1 champions over his sensational form this term.
It is understood that PSG have been monitoring the Austrian forward’s performances for the past two years, but are now ready to test the Premier League club’s resolve with an initial £7.5m-plus bid in the forthcoming week.
