Manchester United face rivals Liverpool in what promises to be an entertaining FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

The Red Devils will be desperate to progress into the last four of the competition that represents their last chance to win a trophy this term.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are still in contention to win a remarkable four trophies this term, including the Premier League title.

Off the pitch, both clubs will already be working to identify potential transfer targets ahead of the upcoming summer window.

It appears, though, that United could face a battle to keep hold of one of their most important players.

According to The Mirror, French giants Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a huge offer for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

The Ligue 1 champions look almost certain to lose talisman Kylian Mbappe when the attacker’s contract expires this summer, and the report claims that they could then look to Rashford as a potential replacement.

Rashford is enduring a frustrating season so far

In 2022, PSG attempted to sign the Englishman and offered him wages of around £400,000-per-week, but Rashford decided to stay put and then produced his finest goal scoring season, netting 30 times across all competitions last term.

Following his remarkable season, Rashford was rewarded with a new £350,000-per-week deal that is set to run until 2028.

This season has been a different story for the 26-year-old, though, as he has netted just seven times in 34 games across all competitions.

Despite his struggles, the report claims that PSG have identified the England international as a potential replacement for Mbappe, who is expected to join Spanish side Real Madrid this summer.

In total, Rashford has made 393 appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions, scoring 130 goals and providing 74 assists.

Despite PSG’s interest, the report claims that United value Rashford at closer to £100 million.
