Puel must give these 3 Southampton players a chance against Hapoel

Jake Hesketh

Jake Hesketh started the season as an Under-23 player for Southampton, despite two appearances in the Premier League in 2014, including his first professional start away at Burnley.

He played in the Under-23’s away win over Charlton Athletic on August 30 yet, since then, he has slowly made his way closer to the first team, and was given a chance against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup last week.

And it was one he duly took, netting the second in their comfortable 2-0 win over Alan Pardew’s side.

Subsequently, he was named on the bench for the trip to West Ham and, although he was an unused substitute, he may feel that he will get another first team chance sooner rather than later.
