Puel should give these 3 Southampton stars a chance against West Brom

Jay Rodriguez

Should Puel want to change and freshen things up in the attacking department, he could call upon former Burnley forward Jay Rodriguez against the Baggies.

The 27-year-old started the weekend draw with Bournemouth but was dropped to the bench against Crystal Palace in midweek, and given that the Saints netted three goals in a game for only the third time at home this term, Puel may keep faith with Nathan Redmond and Shane Long.

However, Rodriguez clearly has quality in the final third, and has scored four goals in just 742 minutes of Premier League action this season, which is more than Long and in less minutes.

Thus, the one-time England international could get the nod at the Hawthorns.
