Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Hull City captain Curtis Davies.

The Championship club are eager to bring in another centre-half after allowing Steven Caulker to join Southampton on loan earlier this season, with the Tigers skipper their number one target.

The 30-year-old, who arrived at the KC Stadium from Birmingham City just over two years ago, made 25 appearances in all competitions for Steve Bruce’s side last season as they suffered relegation from the Premier League.

However; it is also understood that QPR boss Chris Ramsey is interested in West Ham United defender James Collins, although Davies remains his priority buy before the close of the transfer window.
