Rangers have reportedly struck an agreement with Juventus to take Aaron Ramsey on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has struggled to hold down a first-team spot since moving to Italy in the summer of 2019.

This season, the Wales star has been outcasted by boss Max Allegri, making just one Serie A start and has yet to feature in 2022.

Now in danger if being completely frozen out in the second half of the campaign, Tuttosport report (via Mail Online) that the ex-Arsenal midfielder is set to agree to move to Scotland.

Ramsey has not established himself as a first-team regular at Juventus.

Ramsey is one of Juventus’ highest earners on around £400,000 per week but it is not yet clear how much of that Rangers would cover if a deal goes ahead.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be keen to bring a headline signing to Ibrox to boost morale ahead of this week’s Old Firm Derby after dropping points at Ross County over the weekend.

The signing of the Serie A and three time FA Cup winner, who has played 71 times for his country, would certainly fit that bill.
