Rangers will need to weigh in Pumas if they are to sign Eduardo Herrera.

According to a report in The Sun Rangers will have to insert a 20% sell on clause if they are to do business for the midfielder.

With Bruno Alves and Ryan Jack signed up Pedro Caixinha is starting to put his stamp on the club as he prepares for his first full season in charge.

Herrera, who plays as a striker, is currently on loan at Veracruz but would be recalled by Pumas if the right offer is put in front of them.

Rangers could get the Mexican internationalist for just £500,000 provided the sell on clause is included in the deal. With transfer fees going through the roof in England, Pumas want to protect themselves from the striker being sold on south of the border.

Caixinha worked with Herrera when he was in charge of Santos Laguna and is keen to bring in a new scoring threat to Ibrox.
