Pedro Caixinha has already been earmarking the players he believes can help Rangers stop Celtic’s dominance in the Scottish Premiership and ensure the Gers are competitive next season.

Portuguese winger Paulinho – not to confused with the former Tottenham Hotspur player – is the latest name to be linked with a move to Ibrox and Caixinha looks to add to his squad.

Paulinho is currently plying his trade in the second tier of Portuguese football where’s he managed 14 goals this season for Gil Vicente and certainly looks an exciting player who could be ideal in giving Rangers a new attacking edge.
The right-winger is valued at around £500k although is available on a free transfer and has former Rangers midfielder Pedro Mendes as his agent which could help make any deal go through smoothly.

Gil Vicente look set to miss out on promotion to Portugal’s top flight and the 24 year-old could be looking for a new challenge having been at the club for the past four seasons.
