Alfredo Morelos is the latest name linked with a move to Rangers.

According to a report in The Scotsman the HJK Helsinki striker is on Pedro Caixinha’s wanted list.

The new Rangers boss has taken the transfer market by storm this month with four signings confirmed and a number of other players undergoing medicals and applications made for work permits.

Morelos was brought to Rangers attention by Jonatan Johansson who was involved with the Finland national side before moving in as Caixinha’s number three.

The Columbian striker moved to Finland in January in a £425,000 deal from Independiente Mendellin and has already scored 11 goals in 12 matches this season.

HJK would be looking to double their money on the 20 year old but with Rangers splashing the cash on a couple of signings from Mexico paying £1m for a young striker with sell on potential shouldn’t be an issue as Caixinha puts together a squad to challenge Celtic for the title.
