Real Madrid eye £37.5m deal for Arsenal ace

Real Madrid are lining-up an audacious deal to sign Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez during the January transfer window.

The La Liga giants are reportedly willing to offer £37.5m for the Chile ace, plus the potential inclusion of Russia winger Denis Cheryshev as part of the deal.

Sanchez, 26, who arrived at the Emirates from Madrid’s rivals FC Barcelona last summer in a deal worth around £35m, has scored six goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this season.

However manager Arsene Wenger is currently in the process of trying to tie down Sanchez to a new contract at the Premier League club, an offer that will make the forward the highest paid player at Arsenal.
