Germany international midfielder Toni Kroos would welcome a move to Liverpool, according to Don Balon.

The Premier League side, who visit rock bottom Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium tonight (20:00), have been linked with the Real Madrid star following reports he is growing frustrated with life at the Bernabeu.

The 28-year-old, who has 80 international caps for his country, has scored two goals and provided five assists in 25 appearances in all competitions for the defending La Liga champions.

Kroos, who joined Madrid back in July 2014 following his reported €25m transfer from Bayern Munich, has netted nine times in 172 games overall for Zinedine Zidane’s side, winning a league title and two UEFA Champions Leagues, among other honours.

However, the report suggests the 2014 FIFA World Cup winner is open to move away from the Spanish capital, and would welcome an approach from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Kroos is valued at £72m, by transfermarkt.
