Reports from Spain have claimed that Man United manager Jose Mourinho is planning to sign star Celtic striker, Moussa Dembele.

Catalan specialist newspaper Sport (via Sport Witness) have claimed that the former Chelsea boss ‘intends to sign’ the former Fulham man, who has been in fine fettle since making the move north of the border.

The France U21 international, who bagged a brace in a 3-2 win over England earlier this month, has scored 16 goals in 25 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side so far this season.

Man United will, however, face a battle to land a deal for the 20-year-old with the Scottish champions valuing him at a whopping £40m, whilst Premier League rivals Arsenal are also reportedly interested.

The North London side could be prompted to move for another striker sooner rather than later considering summer signing Lucas Perez struggled to find his feet in the capital before getting injured.

The striker, who bagged two goals in the astounding 3-3 draw with Pep Guardiola’s Man City side, will have another chance to shine on the continental stage when the Bhoys take on Spanish giants Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
