Joel Robles has admitted that he has concerns for his future.

According to a report in IB Times the Everton keeper is expecting to drop down the pecking order if Ronald Koeman is able to bring in one of his goalkeeping targets.

Everton have been strongly linked with Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford and Kasper Schmechel of Leicester with Koeman expected to be one of the biggest spenders of the summer.

Robels managed to make 21 top team appearances in the season just ended but has been regarded as a back up option since joining from Wigan in 2013.

Earlier in the season it seemed like Everton would offer the 26-year-old a new contract but that hasn’t materialised with the keeper now in the final year of his current deal.

With half a season of Premier League experience to his name the former Atletico Madrid keeper is in a stronger position to negotiate a move elsewhere compared to last year.
