Leyton Orient are top of the table with a 100% record following a 3-2 away victory over Newport and are the only side to have won every game in the Football League this term. Dean Cox scored the winner with just over an hour played.
Roarie Deacon scored twice as Crawley won 3-0 at Cambridge. Deacon’s first took a major deflection, before a solo run and finish just after half-time, and Gwion Edwards scored a tap-in to complete the scores.
Bristol Rovers comfortably beat their fellow newly-promoted team Barnet 3-1, with goals from Lee Brown and Jermaine Easter putting the home side 2-0 up, before Curtis Weston pulled one back, but Matt Taylor scored with three minutes left.
Portsmouth came from 3-0 down at home to Morecambe to draw 3-3, after a Gary Roberts brace and a stoppage-time equaliser from Jayden Stockley.
Stevenage beat Hartlepool 2-0 at home after a header from Fraser Franks and a lofted finish from Brett Williams, meaning Teddy Sheringham won his game as a manager.
Elsewhere, there were 1-1 draws between Notts County and Accrington, Carlisle and Wimbledon, Wycombe and Dagenham, and Mansfield and Oxford.
There were wins this weekend for Yeovil, who beat Luton 3-2, and Plymouth who won 2-0 at Northampton. And, finally, Exeter and York played out a 0-0 draw.
