Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur battled to a 2-2 draw in the North London derby at The Emirates on Sunday.

The Gunners went ahead when Bukayo Saka’s shot was deflected past his own goalkeeper by Cristian Romero, before Spurs captain Son Heung-Min drew the visitors level.

Mikel Arteta’s side regained the lead in the second half, only to be pegged back once again when Son netted his second of the game on the counter attack.

The result leaves Tottenham and Arsenal fourth and fifth respectively in the Premier League table, with both sides four points behind leaders Manchester City.

Prior to the game, much of the talk was in relation to Arsenal’s goalkeeping situation, with David Raya having been preferred to Aaron Ramsdale of late.

The Spaniard was once again selected for the visit of Spurs, and rumours surrounding Ramsdale’s future remain rife.

Ramsdale has recently lost his place in the Arsenal team

According to Football Insider, there are a number of clubs that would be willing to sign the Englishman if he were to depart The Emirates.

The report claims that, while Ramsdale isn’t looking to leave Arsenal any time soon, he isn’t prepared to be Arteta’s second choice ‘keeper in the long-term.

Ramsdale, 25, joined the Gunners from Sheffield United in 2021 and has since made 83 appearances for the club across all competitions, keeping 30 clean sheets.

Raya, meanwhile, joined on loan from Brentford during the recent summer transfer window but the Spaniard is expected to make his switch permanent at the end of the season.

England international Ramsdale, who was relegated from the top flight with both Bournemouth and Sheffield United prior to his move to the capital, is contracted to Arsenal until the summer of 2026.

The former Cherries man has regularly been involved in the England national team setup since making his debut two years ago, but he has only made four appearances for his country at senior level.
