Liverpool will reportedly face stiff competition from Sevilla in a bid to sign Belgium international starlet Dennis Praet this summer, according to Fichajes (via the Daily Star).

The Premier League side, who currently sit ninth in the standings following last weekend’s 3-2 defeat to the hands of Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium, have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Anderlecht midfielder once the current 2015-16 campaign has concluded.

The 21-year-old, who made his senior international debut against Iceland back in November 2015, has scored four goals and provided eight assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for the Belgian Jupiler Pro League outfit so far this season.

Praet, who was said to be a transfer target of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp during the most recent January transfer window, has now alerted the services of La Liga side Sevilla following his impressive displays this term.

The attacking midfielder has scored 25 goals in 175 games for Anderlecht since making his first-team debut for the club back in September 2011.
