Player of the Month: Dean Cox (Leyton Orient)

Orient have made a flying start to life in League Two and winger Dean Cox, now in his sixth season with the East London club, has played a key role in their eye-catching form. He has made an assist or scored a goal in each of their games thus far, providing a key service to striker Jay Simpson. He’s deadly from long range, whether it’s firing crosses into the box or a free-kick into the net. If Orient continue to be the League Two pacesetters, Cox will be a major part of it.

Manager of the Month: Ian Hendon (Leyton Orient)

The former Orient player has taken to managing the Brisbane Road club like a duck to water. The O’s are the only Football League side with a 100% record, scoring 13 goals and conceding just three in the process. While their first four victories were against sides currently struggling near the foot of the table, a recent home victory against Bristol Rovers, which ended the Pirates’ 21-match unbeaten run away from home, proved that they could well be the team to beat as the season continues.

Goal of the Month: Blair Turgott (LEYTON ORIENT vs Stevenage)
