With 16 games on the clock, Scunthorpe United lead the way in League One, currently three points clear at the summit after their 4-1 victory over Swindon Town on Saturday.

The runners-up spot is currently occupied by Bolton Wanderers, having won their last five league outings in a row, whilst Bradford City are up to third in the standings after defeating AFC Wimbledon 3-2 at the weekend.

Meanwhile at the opposite end of the table, Shrewsbury Town already lie five points adrift of safety in rock-bottom, despite holding Southend United to a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Joining the Shrews in the bottom four is Swindon, Oldham Athletic and Chesterfield, although both Coventry City and Milton Keynes Dons are hovering above that dreaded dotted line by goal difference.
