The big news in the Premier League during the month of February was the sacking of the reigning champions’ manager for the second season running as Claudio Ranieri parted ways with Leicester.

It had a good short-term effect though as the Foxes scored their first Premier League goals of the year in a 3-1 success over Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on February 27, in turn ending a run of five straight league losses, and giving interim boss Craig Shakespeare a genuine chance of securing the job permanently.

Premier League leaders Chelsea showed little signs of letting up in their bid to grab Leicester’s title, while the race for the top four is still open, with sixth place Manchester United just two points behind fourth place Arsenal heading into March, and only five behind Tottenham in second.

Swansea’s revival coupled with Middlesbrough’s plight sees the latter in real danger at the other end, while Hull and Crystal Palace join Sunderland in the bottom three ahead of a pivotal March.

In what was a frantic month, here are the Shoot!’s Premier League Manager, Player, and Goal of the month awards for February…
