The Senegalese international was second only to N’Golo Kante in terms of tackles and interceptions in the Premier League last season, while Kante was on the books at Sunday’s opponents, yet Gueye has turned the tables this time round.

The 27-year-old leads the tackles made column with 115 to Kante’s 101, while the Everton man is just one behind the Chelsea midfielder in terms of interceptions (64 to 63).
