Shoot!’s ultimate West Ham-Swansea five-a-side team

Kyle Naughton

Both teams have seriously struggled at the back this term, with Swansea the highest conceders in the Premier League with 66 goals against, while the Hammers have conceded 57.

Thus, choosing a defender is far from easy, and with West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell set to miss out on Saturday, Swansea’s Kyle Naughton gets the nod.

The former Tottenham full-back joined the Swans in 2015 after several loan spells away from White Hart Lane led to just 74 appearances, and he has since made the right-back spot his own at the Liberty Stadium, having made 24 league starts this term.

Naughton has always been excellent going forward, but this season has shown greater defensive capabilities, which alongside his energy and work-rate, means he gets a spot in this team.
