Swansea’s best player and undoubtedly the most talented midfielder in either team, Gylfi Sigurdsson is once again embarking on a fine season.

The Icelandic international has scored eight goals and laid on 11 assists to help Paul Clement’s side remain in with a chance of survival as, without him, they’d be seriously struggling and probably on the verge of relegation.

Since the turn of the year, the 27-year-old has scored three goals and laid on six assists in 12 league games, which has coincided with the Swans’ resurgence under new boss Clement.

His agility, incredible vision, and wonderful technique would be invaluable in a five-a-side team, which is why he comfortably gets the nod in our team.
