Tottenham Hotspur travel to face Aston Villa on Sunday in a game that could prove pivotal in the race for a top four spot.

The Lilywhites currently sit fifth in the Premier League table – one place and five points behind the Villans – but they do have a game in hand over their opponents.

Ange Postecoglou’s side started the season superbly and topped the standings after ten matches, although they now face a battle to finish in the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The game at Villa Park on Sunday could go a long way towards deciding which sides finish in the top four, and Villa’s impressive home record this season suggests that Spurs could face a tricky task.

In the meantime, it appears that the North London outfit have been handed a huge boost.

According to Football Insider, manager Postecoglou will reject any interest from other clubs this summer in order to stay put at Tottenham.

Postecoglou has no interest in leaving Tottenham this summer

The Australian has been linked with the soon-to-be-vacant managerial role at rivals Liverpool, but the report claims that he has no interest in leaving North London this summer.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is set to depart Anfield this summer and Postecoglou has previously admitted to being a boyhood Liverpool fan, but the report insists that he is not interested in leaving his current position for any club in the foreseeable future.

Postecoglou joined Tottenham last summer after departing Scottish giants Celtic, having won five trophies with the club including two Scottish top flight titles.

Spurs have won 15 of their 26 Premier League games since Postecoglou took charge, although they did suffer early exits from both of the domestic cups this term.
